Arrhenius: my Ea for 'rate doubles per 10 K' is 53.6 kJ but the book says 52.9. Who is right?
Also what does the factor P actually do and what does a catalyst change?

Benzaldehyde gives Tollens' test but not Fehling's, and which compounds give the iodoform test?
Revision month, chemistry, distinction tests. Every board and NEET paper has at least one "which reagent distinguishes X from Y" question, so I need this airtight. The thing I got wrong in a mock: "Benzaldehyde and propa

Green chemistry examples in NCERT: which process replaced which (dry cleaning, bleaching, ethanal)? Mixing up the chemicals
Amma says I study chemistry like I'm doing a quiz show, fast but with mistakes 😅. Soil pollution and green chemistry is one of the "easy" last pages that I still get wrong in tests because the examples blur. What I know:

Lucas test turbidity timing for primary, secondary and tertiary alcohols, and why neutral FeCl3 works only for phenol
I'm building my one-page template for alcohols, phenols and ethers distinction tests on top, named reactions below and a few cells are still empty. Lucas test: I know the reagent is conc. HCl with anhydrous ZnCl2. I know

Naming alcohols that also have a double bond, and which common name is catechol, resorcinol or hydroquinone?
I like the poetry of organic names less than I like actual poems, honestly. Naming alcohols is one more place where my marks slip away. Question one. For CH 2=CH-CH 2OH I wrote prop-1-en-3-ol because I thought the double

How do I solve Nernst equation numericals step by step without messing up Q and the signs?
The formula is short, but the setup around it is where marks leak. Here is where students slip and how to make these questions feel mechanical.

Cr and Cu exceptions plus which electrons leave first in Fe³⁺ — 4s fills first but also leaves first, kaise?
Bhai ek confusion hai jo mujhe raat ko bhi pareshan karta hai. Aufbau principle says electrons fill the lowest energy orbital first: 1s, 2s, 2p, 3s, 3p, 4s, 3d... So scandium onwards, 3d is filled after 4s. OK. Then for

Should I understand organic reaction mechanisms or just memorise them for NEET?
SN1, SN2, Markovnikov, carbocations: where understanding saves time and where memory has to take over.

Why is heavy water used as a moderator and not normal water? And why isn't hydrogen already the fuel everyone uses?
Revising Hydrogen again 3rd time lol, budget wale notes bhi ab ghis gaye . Two things that I never got logically. 1. NCERT says D 2O is used as a moderator in nuclear reactors. A moderator slows neutrons down. But normal

How do I cover inorganic chemistry: NCERT lines, exceptions and periodic trends, without drowning?
Be vs B, N vs O, Cl vs F, inert pair effect. A way to organise inorganic so it stays in memory.

van't Hoff factor for association and dissociation: deriving i with α, and why NaCl never shows exactly 2
Second attempt, and I want this chapter to be a strength.

Why is chloroform kept in dark brown bottles filled to the brim, and what is phosgene doing in NCERT?
It's 2 am and I can't sleep so I'm revising polyhalogen compounds under a blanket with a torch my mum thinks I'm sleeping . NCERT says chloroform is stored in closed dark brown bottles, completely filled so that air is k
