Safety & wellbeing

Studying for big exams can feel heavy. You don't have to carry it alone.

If someone is in immediate danger

Call 112 (India's emergency number) or go to the nearest adult or hospital right now.

Talk to someone today (India)

  • Tele-MANAS — free 24×7 mental-health support from the Government of India: 14416 (or 1800-891-4416).
  • KIRAN — Government of India mental-health rehabilitation helpline: 1800-599-0019.
  • Childline — for anyone under 18 who needs help or protection: 1098.

Numbers can change — if one doesn't connect, search for your state's mental-health helpline. If you are outside India, search for your country's crisis line.

Smaller things that help

  • Tell one trusted person — a parent, sibling, teacher, friend — how you really feel.
  • Sleep, food, water and a short walk beat another hour of panic revising.
  • Your rank or mock score is not your worth. Many people changed paths and did well.

If you see a worrying post

Don't reply with jokes or arguments. Use Report so an editor can respond, and gently share the numbers above. Editors review safety reports first.
