Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using Commons. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Who can use Commons

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • If you are under 18, you may use the site only with the agreement of your parent or guardian. When you sign up we ask you to confirm this.
  • One person, one account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — you are responsible for what happens on your account.

2. What Commons is

Commons is a community blog where students share stories, ask questions and answer each other. Everything on it is written by students and other members, not by teachers or official bodies. It is not professional, medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not an official source for any exam. Always check exam rules, syllabus and dates with the official exam authority and your teachers.

3. Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give Target720 a free, worldwide licence to store, display, distribute (for example in feeds, search and RSS) and adapt it (for example, resizing images) only to run and promote Commons.
  • Only post things you wrote or have the right to share. Give credit when you use someone else's words, pictures or ideas.
  • You can edit or delete your stories and comments at any time, and delete your whole account from Settings. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited time.

4. What you must not do

Follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, never:

  • post live-exam questions, leaked papers or help anyone cheat;
  • harass, bully, threaten, shame or discriminate against anyone, or share anyone's private information;
  • post sexual, violent or hateful content, or content that encourages self-harm;
  • spam, advertise, run scams, collect other people's data, or impersonate someone;
  • upload malware, attack or overload the site, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
  • use bots or scripts to post or sign up, or sell, rent or share accounts.

5. Moderation

Anyone can report content. Editors and administrators may remove content, restrict accounts or delete accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, with or without notice, especially where safety is involved. Moderation decisions are made in good faith; you can contact us to ask for a review.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Commons infringes your copyright, email spnikam1984@gmail.com with the link, what is yours, and your contact details. We will review it promptly and may remove the content. Cover photos shown on stories are credited to their photographers on the image credits page.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features. We may update these terms; if the changes are important we will tell you on the site, and continuing to use Commons after that means you accept them.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Commons and Target720 are not responsible for content written by members, for decisions you make based on it, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you a right to go elsewhere.
